About Me

Hello! My name is Paula Baker and I am a Realtor at Royal LePage Nanaimo Realty in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and believe it to be one of the most beautiful places on our planet.

From the electrifying Gulf Islands, to the mountains, rivers, lakes, and ocean we are truly fortunate. Our Island has so much to offer… boating around Gabriola, camping at Rathtrevor Beach, skiing Mt. Washington, fireworks at the inner harbor, golfing at the many beautiful courses, hiking all the nature trails… people from every walk of life will find enjoyment here. I started in the Real Estate industry in Victoria and have been working in Nanaimo and surrounding area since 2006. I enjoy working with people and helping them to find a house they will call their home.

The enjoyment I have in seeing my clients start their new lives, in a home I was able to find for them, is what makes my career so rewarding. Life and circumstances change—Marriage, children, work transfers, empty nest…the list is endless…the house got too small, the house got too big…no matter our circumstance we all need a Realtor with local knowledge and expertise to help with the transition into our new journey in life.

I have three children, two girls and a boy, who have further taught me the importance of family and how incredibly important it is to always be honest, trustworthy, have a high level of integrity and loyalty when communicating with all people, and especially my clients who are trying their utmost to do the best for their family. Buying and Selling a home is not something most of us do everyday, so even though this is a fantastic new adventure it does stretch our comfort zones and at times becomes challenging. I do my utmost to ensure my clients have a smooth and relatively worry-free transition.

I am very thankful when I get to help with the process and see a family succeed at reaching their goals and making their dreams come true.
